  After spending the festive period holed up at his home with his family, listening mainly to Frank Sinatra and plotting his next move Scott decided to return to the studio and record a brand new song. This song turned out to be a gentle ballad entitled ‘Can I Sing about Love?’
  
  Fans of Scotts previous album may be a little surprised at this alternative direction, (and by ‘alternative direction’ we do not mean ‘mainstream direction’) but after a few listens most will hear the Artists ‘Art’ and ‘Style’ in full flow throughout the track. Confused listeners should be aware of the shock fans got who were only before acquainted with his previous Guitar instrumentals. This entire aside, many will hear this for what it is – a beautiful Folk styled ballad.
  
  Scott was joined in the studio by his usual Bass Player David Allanach, who also tackled Percussion, while production and string arrangements were taken care of by Urban Recordings main man Carl Lamb. Mr. Wainwright handled Piano, Guitar and Harmonica as well as his trademark vocal. ... more
